Love my Roku

I recommend Roku to everyone complaining about the high cost of cable and dish TV. This was my 2nd purchase of a Roku 1. I now have one in my bedroom,and in my living room. Roku rocks!

The reception is very good, picture is sharp. My only concerns are the program we are watching stops to re-upload. I do not know what causes it. Also, it is very hot, even when it is off, for an all electric device. We are very happy with it.

I cheaped out and bought the we-Roku 1 - when it gets heated up, the thing starts acting like I'm using rabbit-ears! Fuzz appears, half-screens appear and it really sucks to have to turn off the unit, so it can cool, just as they're about to blow up the Bridge On the River Kwai...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exceptional Player for Older Television

This Roku Player 1 is a replacement for an older player. It works great with my (approximately 20 year old) very basic television.

It is always buffering cuts my movies off. It's not my internet cause my chromecast works wonderful..
