I bought my Roku 1 a very long time ago and I love it. A matter of fact on 7/11/16 I bought a Roku stick.

I bought this a little more than a month ago thinking that it would cost me less than my cable/satellite Co.. It's not, most choices you have to pay for monthly to watch as well. I'm paying more now than I was.

Remote failure

This roku would be great if the remote would work from further than 3 feet. I only purchased this roku for a spare room to supplement my Apple TV in the main room. Pretty much unusable unless you are standing directly in front of the player. Wishing I had just purchased another Apple TV. They're of so much better quality.

Accesses TWC Well

I bought this to access the digital channels that Time Warner Cable was moving to and I was able to get expanded channels with the ROKU. The remote is slow and I sometimes lose the signal. I was warned that I should go to a higher number to get a better performance. I know it does more than just cable which I have yet to explore.
