Super Easy to use!

We have owned several Roku devices and we love this Roku 1 the best. It has the HDMI output as well as analog outputs so you can use it on your hi def television or to an older model. We cancelled cable and use Roku for everything now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stopped working after five months!

Roku 1 player stopped working after five months. Product only comes with a 90 day warranty. Honestly not happy with this product. You would probably be better off buying an apple tv. That is what I did. Plus no HBO GO verification with Comcast. Apple TV works with HBO GO and Comcast.

Too many tv series

We have found it to have too many series from tv. Also it should be categorized as thrillers, comedy, not as based on Barbaras choice. How to order new movies like I do on netflix?

easy to use

I like it, but the volume needs work. Sometimes it gets very loud. Also, my daughter subscribes to netflix and I'm added to the account. When we set up roku, we had to use her name, instead of mine, which would be fine, except that netflix keeps track of which episode of a series you left off at and having to use my daughter's name, it doesn't keep track of MY shows.

Enjoyed six months of good service until an update was required when a minimum download speed was required. Mine is too slow. It's impossible to return to the previous system, making the unit useless to me.
