A gift from my daughter!

My daughter bought this for my birthday since I liked hers. With this version you have to point the remote Directly at the unit for it to register which can be difficult. Other than that, I love the Roku and would suggest the one my Daughter has to friends.

Better than cable tv!

We bought our roku 1, two months ago. We subscribed to Netflix and SlingTv. We also have access thru Roku to many free streaming tv channels and music. There is something for everyone. No contract. No huge fees.

Love it, easy to use. I only thing I am not totally pleased with, I watched many different TV shows last winter and it doesn't come up inviting me back (or attention). My first roku did this. I am on my 3rd roku (newer is usually better). Also I think they should sync, But haven't figured out how to do this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great option for older TV's that still work great

Our first Roku was the stick. We loved it and wanted to get one for the TV in the living room that still works great but has no HDMI slot. We got the Roku 1 and have been very pleased. The only thing is that the capability won't let us view all of our profiles on Netfilx. We just did some controls changing with our Netfilx account so the kids had their parental controls! Great investment!!
