Better features and apps than my Samsung SmartTV

I bought the first one for a TV in my man cave. I liked it so much I bought a second one to connect to my Samsung LED SmartTV because Samsung's apps absolutely suck!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Searching problem

How do I just request a specific movie by name? All I see are streams of available movies to select. Also, I wish I could access something like Netflix' search aids that are based on previously viewed and liked movies.

I bought this item probably 1 month ago and I absolutely hate it I bought it for the use of plex which to my knowledge was supposed to be a free channel but I ended up having to pay for it , but that's not what really upsets me, this sits near my wireless N router with a 20 meg so its a fast connection and my computer is wired so there really shouldn't be any connection issues but I was wrong to think that it hardly ever connects to my Internet or my plex server and when it does its choppy at best and then sure enough it freezes and then I have to disconnect it to restart I'm quite unhappy with the roku 1. I would strongly recommend to anyone not to buy a roku.

I have had it a month for the must part I do like it but I find it to be some what clitchy maybe I should have went with the next one up but im glad I found it

Fair replacement for Direct TV

I have had this for about a year. Got the Roku 1 so I could do away with Direct TV. To save money it is ok. The problem I have with it is no live TV. Football is not available unless you have a TV provider. If you want to watch more recent movies you have to pay for them, they are not included in the free channels. Free does not always mean free on the channels either. If I was to purchase all the channels and get a TV provider for sports this would cost just as much as Direct TV. I am not as pleased with Roku as I thought I would be
