I bought a Roku smart tv that was pretty much awful, as a matter of fact I bought two and sent one back. There was a special on the Roku player and I bought it.
It hooks up pretty much like the Amazon Fire Stick. There has not been a problem with it, and I would recommend it to anyone.

This Riki is great! I have an older tv in my guest room that doesn't have hdmi hook up so this roku was super useful. I was glad to not have to pay for cable in a room that doesn't get used frequently. It worked great when my parents came to visit and has other great features like Pandora too.

Ours was purchased to give us more viewing options while staying for an extended period of time at a hotel near the Medical Center in Houston .... we thought it would have a decent variety of FREE Movies -Series - Channels Unfortunately it DID NOT....the good news
fortunately for us is that it does allow you to access some not all of your subscribed pay channels through your Provider ours is Dishnetwork....My feelings about ROKU are indifferent it got us through but only because we already had a Dish Network subscription.....ROKU has a good variety of channels/networks to choose or that can be added but most of them COST EXTRA

This product is great. if you want to ditch cable, then this product offers a cheaper but reliable alternative. It is easy to use and offers many great features as well as channels
