Good price but not as feature rich

Bought this for a second TV but when setting it up I found that apps like Netflix and Amazon looked and worked differently, and not for the better. Would have been much better off with a different device as this one is back in the box and now a nice paperweight.

SLOW

This device is painfully slow to load and transition between screens. We have fast internet so that is not the problem. It freezes all the time and the remote batteries die constantly because it is always sending a signal. We bought an Fire TV and it works wonderfully. We actually would have returned this but since it was already open we are stuck with it. We just keep it in our RV.

Watched a 1:45 move and it took over 3 hours to watch because of the commercials that kept coming on.

bought it to lower the expenses.....by the time you subscribe to what you want, well I might as well go back to cable.

I have time warner cable and the Roku has worked in the past very well but for some weird reason Time Warner says that they are or Roku is working on a patch for the product. Hope it gets fixed quick I don't want to buy a different Device
