I have the earlier model, but I love it and it works great. I've been tempted to upgrade because I know the newer models have more features, but as long as this one works fine I see no need to spend the money..I don't have tv. I only stream. I love the aps for movies, I watch the NBC ap for a lot of news and PBS ap has a lot of good choices...

I got our Roku 4 months ago, and I love it! I have cut the cable, because I just don't need it anymore! If you're looking to save some dollars each month, get the Roku NOW! Why are you still reading this review? Go, now, go get it!

once a day roku stop streaming and gets disconnect from wi-fi and then connects automatically. i use it primarily for dishworld.

I bought my Roku last year and it was one of the best decisions made in terms of video streaming. The price was a big factor in my decision as well as the recommendation from my Grandson. I didn't know what to expect and how difficult would it be to install. Like the saying goes, "Wait to worry." I couldn't be happier. The only suggestion would be to make the Users Manual more comprehensive and informative. Putting it on-line would work too

Starts off great, but only warrantied for 3 months

I bought my Roku in October, in the last month it's had more and more trouble playing without freezing. Apparently I had some bonus months because it was only under warranty for 90 days. So if you want to buy a new one every 90 days, it will be great for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap Unit that does not work

Returned it twice, this is my third unit - First a unit: Screen kept blacking out with lots of static. Second unit: remote did not work. Third unit: remote keeps sending commands even though the buttons are not being pressed. Roku does not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
