Awesome and convenient programs

I was given this as a gift and I love it! I was without television for about a year and this works better and has more apps than the game system I was using. The only problem I have is when I am watching a show about once every 2 days it seems to reboot.

Fairly easy to use

As a non-geek, I am generally wary of new electronic devices. My Roku 1 was not difficult to set up, and works in a way with which I am comfortable. I enjoy being able to watch TV programs and movies on my own schedule rather than that of the networks and cable companies. I'm very please with my Roku.

One of My Best Purchases Ever

I finally took the plunge and cut cable - saving $80 per month. Thanks to Roku (and Netflix) I haven't regretted it for a moment. I must say, however, the available free content for Roku is somewhat disappointing. It is fairly obvious that the reason it's free is that no one would pay any money to watch it. (I love the streaming B Sky B news.) I must also add that the need to give a credit card to set-up Roku was very annoying. The packaging never disclose it - a deceptive trade practice in my view. All-in-all, I am very happy with Roku.

Very happy with my roku, wish my other streaming media device was a roku! Would give 5 stars if it were affiliates with both satellite companies instead of just one

I bought this several months ago and it is by far one of the best purchases I've made. I love the variety of things I'm able to watch on my Roku and it is very easy to operate.

Greatest device ever

Tomorrow is the 4th month anniversary of my Roku1. Very seldom turn to regular TV these days. Love the program choices, the commercial ads are short and quiet unlike regular TV ads. Best investment I every made. Since my purchase; my daughter and son have bought Roku's also.
