We have really enjoyed the convenience and the choices of movies that Roku has to offer. Right now we have three different series that we are watching. To be honest we subscribed to Roku because there is nothing on cable TV during the summer months but we like it so well that we won't drop it when the new programs start in the fall. Subscribe....you won't regret it.

Easy to install

Got the Roku1 a few weeks ago. I am one of the few that refuses to get Netflix. Got it more for watching PBS shows on demand. It does that. Most of the other channels are either pay for service or crud. There are some movie channels that are free, cool. However, they have the same commercials that repeat every fifteen minutes. You literally watch the same commercials a dozen times. That's frustrating! I've grown used to watching commercials. That's Ok, but the same ones over and over again. Wow. Hopefully, in 2015, Roku will have deals with all the companies that have content available on their websites also available on Roku. I'll wait.

Great for MLB.tv

I have a Samsung Smart BlueRay player and planned on streaming the MLB.tv "channel" through it. It was constantly rebuffering.
The Roku has no issue - the stream is virtually perfect.
I'm planning on buying a stick for my new home.

I bought Roku 3 or 4 months ago and was concerned about trying to install it. I am what would be described as technology challenged. It took me maybe 3 minutes. I control what I watch and when I watch. Love it.

The roku is awesome. I'm able to watch Netflix, PBS, and a ton of other great channels when I go to bed. I've saved a fortune by being able to use this device instead of relying on cable or satellite. I have recommended the Riki to everyone I know. Its awesome
