Great device - no problems

I bought this device over 6 months ago and have had success in finding free movies and programs. My 2 grandchildren love that they can watch free educational PBS shows whenever they want. I have had no streaming problems, so overall, it was a great investment!

Selection difficult.

Great when it works--excellent picture and sound--but very difficult to select a movie or TV show. Clicking the remote left-right or up-down should only move one space unless held, but more often than not, mine would cause a jump ahead of 4 or 8 or 16 spaces, passing a selection I was interested in. When backing up, it would skip over it in the other direction. Very frustrating. I never use it anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great gadget

My son and daughter bought roku for me , didnt have a clue what it was,found out fast,i like it very much,you know old dogs new tricks,but figured it out pretty quickly.

I replaced an old Roku that died, and this one works even better that the old one. This one does not have an Ethernet plug, but does not even need one. This wireless connection works great and is all you need. There are more channels than ever before. Pay and free.

Bought the Roku to cut down on our cable bill. We took cable completely out. Love our Roku so much we now have three boxes.

ROKU ROCKS

I have been using Roku for about 3 months and I tell everyone about the inexpensive way to watch television. I interview people that need assistance and I always recommend roku over local cable.

I can pull up and select movies on both my account and my wife's account on my computer. When I turn on my Ruku 1 on my TV, only my selection of movies are listed? Tried listing a third name on my computer same problem ok for computer but no show on my wife's two accounts on my Ruku TV hook up?
