Many Channels few hassels

Bought it a couple of months ago, and wasn't too sure at first, but what a surprise. Of all the electronics that I've purchased recently, this one works exactly as advertised, and it keeps getting better. It was easy to instal, though I did have to work on the setup, but that was because of my wireless security. I can now stream from my computer to my tv without it reloading or buffering. We can watch NHRA the day after the actual races, though we don't get the NASCAR races. I do wish it had more content in the free channels, even if they do have to play the occasional commercial. It's a lot better than what you get from cable or network tv as far as the commercials go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a Mother's Day gift from my daughter and very welcome. Although it is far more material than I will live long enough to enjoy, it is wonderful for sedentary persons who live alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought it for my boyfriend and he, myself and his 2 kids use it to watch Netflix and we are very happy with it.

Simplest Piece of Technology I Own

I love my Roku! My family and I gave up cable earlier this year and now just watch what's on Amazon, Netflicks and the other channels on the Roku. The Roku meets all my viewing needs (although I can't get any of the M*A*S*H episodes streamed, but that's not your fault.
The best part about this tiny dynamo of television is how simple is to set up and use. Take it from the box, plug the color coded cables in and turn on your TV. The remote control is also easy to use. Thank you for giving us greater technology without more buttons and greater complication.
Finally, one of the surprising aspects of my love affair with the Roku is the news station. It is up to date and feeds just enough of my inner news junkie to be satisfied.

Still learning all it can do

I bought my Roku from the advise of a co-worker when I told her I hate Comcast. I received my Roku and I am still learning all the things it can do. I also ordered an antenna and I now have no more cable bills with Comcast. I do have to have their internet but the cheap one. :) Thank you Roku for assisting me with getting rid of high cable tv prices. :) I would rate my Roku higher but like I said I am still learning what it can do.
