A great way to watch movies on your TV. After I switched our server to Comcast it worked much better due to the faster speed. Easy program to navigate, highly reccomended!!

It is true, three. Roku is the best thing that ever happened to consumers, heck, Cable and Satellites companies only bleed you to death.
I only have one issue with it, THE AUDIO, what's going on with it?...or is it Netflix itself?..I do not know, but the Roku itsellf works great!.
Thank you for inventing an alternative, a choice, specially for us retired folks who live in a fix income.
Even my kids and some friends are switching now to "the box" after I show them how easy and simple is and the great variety of Channels and programs.
Once again, Thank you Roku!....

Great buy

This is my second Roku unit. The first was a Roku II. I purchased this Roku I for
my other TV set. For my purposes, the units have very little differences and I now
wonder why I purchased a Roku II at a greater price. I am completely satisfied with
the Roku I.

Actually Delivers What it Advertises

I bought my Roku a couple of months ago, I just came across it in an office supply store when I was shopping and it looked interesting. I brought it home and opened the box and was amazed at how simple it was to set up. I have a very basic cable tv subscription which includes a minimal number of stations, but with my Roku I have more viewing available than I could ever imagine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No lag on channel surfing, solid connection to router. Worth the $ as the content is easily sorted.

Lots of great channels, collaboration wth Slingbox

I have owned Rokus for several years and have updated them as necessary. I'm not a gamer, so I went for the Roku 1 instead of the 2 or 3 this time. The reason for the upgrade is the collaboration between Roku and various cable providers (and Slingbox) that requires a new Roku box, so that now I can get a variety of movie and sports channels (e.g. ESPN) on my Roku when I am away from home. The size of the box has shrunk so that it is easy to take with me, and just about all hotels have WiFi and HDMI-enabled TVs. I rarely use cable/satellite when travelling any more. With Roku and my Slingbox, I even watch my hometown news on a big screen when I'm away. My Roku is indispensable to me.
