Great for the home bound

I had heart bypass surgery and my daughter got me a Roku I was going to be home and in position where about all I could do watch tv. The Roku has brought many hours of entertainment for me to date and still I use it more that my regular TV channels

I have had my Roku for almost 8 months. I keep asking myself... What took so long. I can enjoy all the old shows from the 50's, 60's, and up that I haven't seen in years. I can also watch a lot of the new shows if I miss them during the week. There are a few channels have a small monthly fee, but to me well worth it. However if you wish you can find many that are totally free. Other than my riding mower this is one of the best things I have done in a long time. Trust someone that is cheap, it is totally worth the money.

Replaced a Roku HD. Roku 1 loads quicker and buffers less often than the HD.

my tv down stairs had no cable to it and limited channels (3), i got my roku and have been enjoying since, even my family comes down to sneak a peak at the channels and told me we need up upstairs.

Being a senior citizen, I needed to reduce my cable bill and there was so much on there that I did not watch. A friend told me about Roku . I have had it about a month now . I am very happy with it. Goodby to cable.

Bought this a few months ago and it really is great! Can watch NetFlix and YouTube on here. Also Pandora which is nice to put on while cleaning!
