Perfect for me!

I bought this a few months back primarily for streaming Netflix movies but I've ended up using it for the Free Fox News and History Channel and cartoons as well for my son. I also subscribed to Amazon Prime and can stream Amazon movies through this as well. Currently I'm using my Roku to listen to Pandora as well. This is such a great device and beats having to buy a Gaming console or a Smart tv (which can get very pricey). I have had a great experience with my Roku and it is so simple and easy to use. I've introduced several people to the Roku who also think it is awesome!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very small device that is easy to set up and use!! Couldn't ask for more. I can watch so many things and rent even more.

loses signal easily

I bought the Roku 1 primarily to watch WWE network. After installing it I also discovered that I could use it for Netflix. I was very excited until I started using it. Every so often it would say connecting and I'd have to wait until it reconnected. That's very annoying and embarrassing especially if you have company over to watch something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It worked initially. But then the sound disappeared. I changed the hdmi cable several times, and it made no difference. Lovely picture, but useless.

This is so easy to set up and use. The only thing that I wish that would be added is a smoother fast forward and rewind. It's very hard to judge how far to go.

Roku offers met viewing options. I continually find time honored films I enjoy as well as new releases that are culturally relevant and important.
