Great Picture

Bought this because I was tired of paying so much for cable. I wasn't expecting to love it, but I do. Best move I ever made. I cant believe how good the picture is - I do, however, have it hooked up to an HD television and purchased the HDMI cable to go along with it. I'm saving hundreds of dollars and not missing the cable at all.

The Only Way to Enjoy TV!

I bought this about a month ago after researching many options. I finally decided to buy one and it is the best decision I could have made. I have since bought a second one and I have cancelled my cable subscription. I have so many viewing options I will never possibly be able to see them all. If your thinking of buying one stop thinking and do it, you won't regret it.

Easy for kids.

My 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter love being able to watch what they want and with the Roku 1 they are able to control it themselves and watch what they enjoy.

i bought one right before halloween, liked it so much and wanted to do away with cable for the whole house so i went out and bought three more. i wish some of the apps that are free were actually free and you don't need a cable provider to sign into but thats no fault of the machine. however i found on two of the four that i bought I'm having to unplug or restart them often which i hadn't before. may be a sign that i need a new one. time will tell.
