We love our Roku!

I bought this for my wife for Christmas last year. They whole family greatly enjoys it. Our 9 year old loves all of the Power Rangers series (who knew there were so many?). Our 2 year old twins love Disney Junior and PBSKids. Plus, my wife and I can catch up on all the series we never had time to watch before. Oh, and House of Cards...... need I say more?

I'm very happy with this device. It's so worth the money. Now, with that said. When you ask me to take my time to write a review, DON'T start it with a commercial or a streaming advertisement. Take me straight to the subject. We all have enough to wade through and that's not going to convience me to purchase more. Thank You

I have been using my Roku for about 3 month love it, and love it. If you don't want cable this is the way to go.

I examined the features of all three Roku's available at the time and decided that Roku 1 would meet our needs. I am not disappointed in my choice. It provides excellent internet streaming simply and efficiently. It is plug and play!

Easy to use

I purchased several months ago, I did have an issue with the remote that came with it, but once that was replaced have never had an issue. Not sure why there was a need to produce a Roku 2 or 3, the Roku 1 is perfect. And should it ever need replaced I will be sticking with the Roku 1.

This is truly an amazing purchase. I like being able to find entire TV series that I can watch one right after the other. I have no problem waiting a while to be able to do that.. I love being able to watch my Netflix, Hulu and Amazon prime on my TV while I am still working on my computer. Before Roku this wasn't possible. The number of channels you can chose for free are limitless. If it weren't that my husband likes to watch live sports I could easily get rid of my cable altogether. I got Ruku 1 and it has been sufficient to meet my viewing pleasure. Some nights it buffers a lot, but if I try to watch something on my computer instead on those nights it's also slow, so it may be my internet service or just a lot of usage that slows it down.. all in all I love it!
