I just cancelled my satellite tv !

I ordered up satellite tv a month ago . I finally realized I am hooked on my Roku player . I am buying a couple of Roku 2 players for my other tv's . Buy Roku and get your bang for the buck !

Roku saves me a ton on over priced cable bils

The first Roku was given to me. It was the first model that was made. It still worked but I upgraded to the Roku 1. Even though I don't have a HD tv, it still makes my tube tv look as if HD is on it. The Roku saves me a ton of money on cable bills. Roku where have you been? I am so glad that someone told me about it. I have Netflix, but you have choices on which subscription you want. Amazon has alot of channels for children, especially Nickelodeon. Netflix carries Disney. Other than that, they both carry alot of channels and tv series that I love and are not showing on regular tv or cable anymore. For approximately $8 bucks a month, you can't beat it for what you receive. The set up is so easy. The only thing I had to get used to was not being able to flip through cable channels on my remote. There are no numbers on the remote, which was different from what I was used to. Please make sure to purchase an antenna, if your tv does not have HD. Otherwise, you won't be able to get basic channels like 2, 5, and 11.

i bought my roku 1 online and had it delivered yesterday.the setup was very easy with a little help from tech support.it works great! i like the channels it offers and that i get to choose what i want to watch and remove any one i donot want.it offers me so many options and flexibility.i am so glad to have roku!!!

I bought the Roku 1 online and I only have a DSL connection that can drop down to 1mb. This thing is really great and streams so cleanly on a pretty slow connection. I am impressed at what it can do. Still missing YouTube and a few others, but very cool product.

I received Roku 1, HDMI cable and Netgear Genie for my birthday from my sons and grandson on March 9. We had Netflix on our PC and now we have it on my HD TV too, along with 46 free channels from The Channel Store including A&E, History Channel, Lifetime and PBS. We only pay a monthly fee for Netflix and can switch back to our regular Antenna TV whenever we want. Great gift, I love it.

Got one of these early last year and that was everyone's stocking stuffer come Christmas. Other than sports this is the only thing I watch anymore. Don't know how it could any easier to set up

Roku is the most "easy-to use" OTT device. You can simply connect Roku1 to your TV and set up is incredibly easy. Everything is easy to control after set up. I think that is the reason why my family also like to use Roku with simple remote rather than Cable company's remote.
