Simple setup and easy to use

It was very easy to set up and get running quickly. My only regret is that the Netflix app does not allow for profiles

I have two Rokus one in each of my homes. I just do not like the new pop up at the start of a selection asking what kind of advertisement I want, than after my show is starting I get the ad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this as a gift. This is the one gift I've received that gets used daily. Now it being the 1 there are a few glitches but overall it's a great product

Too bad Comcast is screwing up Roku usage.

The Roku player is fine, and I appreciate the huge range of choices (as opposed to the vast wasteland that is cable TV). Unfortunately, because Comcast is my internet provider, my Roku is constantly stopping and backing up to load, and then I lose the internet connection, and everything gets screwed up. I really wish that Roku (and Netflix and Amazon, and anyone else with any clout) would force Comcast to provide the high speed internet they are charging us for, because I really don't know how much longer I am going to be willing to put up with this frustration.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As as a Senior who is technologically challenged (and can't even figure out how to navigate cell phones belonging to others), I have been able to manage my Roku with ease and comfort.

I bought my Roku at the recommendation of a friend. I was tired of paying so much for satellite TV. I have Netflicks and Hulu and I can watch shows on my tv using the Roku. I love the little remote. It fits in my nicely in my hand. Best investment I have ever made.
