I absolutely love my roku. I also have a Chromecast but the roku is so much nicer. I can use both my remote and my phone to control it and it has many times more channels. I like it so much I bought a second for I've of my other tv's. My only compliant is that you can't turn it off.

My sons bought this for me for my birthday. I am a late night person so this is hooked up to the TV in my bedroom. I have watched so many great movies and TV shows, both old and new. What a great and wonderful invention! It has saved me hundreds of dollars in rental fees and it is SO easy to use. I love it, you will too! Thanks.

Had issues

I was looking forward to using the roku after seeing one at a friends house. Navigating through movies and shows is so easy. Though not long after I hooked it up, it started having problems. It would freeze during navigating. And while watching a show, we would find that we are back further in the show, repeating whar we already watched. Maybe I just purchase a random dud but I went to exchange it for a different one, there weren't anymore like that one. The only roku 1 they had was with the hdmi wireless connection which didn't work at all. It wouldn't pick up my wireless.
