I love it, we have watched the cable series at our convience instead of the cable network.. I just wished it would stream HBO and Showtime and then I would even be a more happier camper.

We have 3 Roku players throughout the home. I love being able to watch the shows I WANT to watch WHEN I want to watch them. The only thing that my husband would like is the rest of Law and Order...the original series to be added to the menu.

Open Platform for Developers and Content creators

Have owned for 6 mos. very happy. Content wise, it's the best digital streamer. runs Linux (as does my PC's) which means open platform for developers and content creators. not tied to large media company like amazon or apple, which gives it more independence content wise. very happy with it. the Future of TV, imo.

Not only does my Roku 1 work great...but it is so small that usually no one even knows where it is, and when I point it out they are surprised at how well it looks and blends in with everything else! Not some big conglomeration that takes away from your décor!! :-)
