Slower than Roku 3, but love all my Rokus

This was actually my 4th Roku. I started with a Roku 1 in the living room to be sure I liked it. Followed with a Roku stick for the bedroom. Then moved Roku 1 to my study and bought a Roku 3 for the living room. The second Roku 1 that I just purchased is our "travel Roku". Since it takes both HDMI and A/V inputs, it will work with virtually any TV on the road. Obviously I like my Rokus !!!!

I purchased my Roku in Dec 2013, just after my son told me how great it was to be able to watch tv off the internet. It does the job, and I haven't had a problems with it. Frankly however, just about any brand will work just as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

kid friendly and easy to use

I bought this for my kids room and its great, the can use it without a problem and I love how I can see what they watch from my tablet and I have a remote control on my tablet, over all I think this is a great thing for my kids.

What a great solution

My husband bought this for my 75 year old mom. I didn't even know what it was. It is perfect for her Granny Flat. No antennae, no satellite, just wireless internet. Well, it is easy to use, comes in great and she LOVES it! She uses hulu and netflix the most, but enjoys all the channels. Roku is her exclusive t.v. solution.

Love my Roku!

I heard about Roku though a friend and love it. Also have an antenna to pull local channels, but we spend our time on Netflix and love the variety of other channels. Love not having the massive bill of cable. Works best with unlimited internet, not with a dish.

Bought this 8 months ago (Xmas) and love it. A no brainer to connect and easy access to my Prime membership (actually seamless.) A++
