Wouldn't recommend

Bought this for my kids TV. The remote is horrible and has to be aimed right at the device up close. It randomly moves to different shows, channels ect and skips the ones you are trying to select.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Product

I got my Roku 1 many months ago; I love it. My Mother recently gave me her Blu-ray player and I've been using it for Netflix and Pandora. The Roku does over 1000 apps. The only problems I've had with my Roku 1 is that sometimes while I'm navigating it will skip and move two places; and sometimes while I'm in Netflix, for example, some pictures/text will not load even after a very long time. But I think those are not too serious; in general I love my Roku 1. I just used it last night to watch a movie through Amazon Instant Video. And I can use Flixster with my Roku.

I BOUGHT ROKU BOX A LITTLE WHILE AGO. THE PRICE WAS DEF, RIGHT. IT WAS AN EASY HOOK UP AND IT WORKS GREAT !! LOTS OF GOOD CHANNELS AND MANY TRAVEL FLICKS. I SAVE A TON OF MONEY BY CANCELING CABLE TOO. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT !!!

Great product for so little money. Why doesn't everyone have one of these. I actually am going to buy a 2nd one for the bedroom but in the meantime, I can move this one from one tv to another easily.

Roku is a great alternative to buying cable. I am still able to watch all my favorite shows on Netflix and Hulu by only paying a small fee! I have saved so much money since I bought my Roku and definitely don't believe I'm missing out of anything!

ROKU streams my videos very efficiently considering I don't have a very fast internet service, I will recommend this product, you will also find remote controls apps for Androids and Apple.
