I am on Social Security, and have a very limited income. There was no way that I could afford cable. A friend of mine told me about Roku, and buying one was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was a very affordable piece of equipment, and so easy to install. It takes away all the worry out of what is there to watch, and what can I afford to watch on television. I love my Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Roku is giving me access to Acorn and Amazon Prime-all that I need. Using the Roku iPhone app makes searching much more convenient than the native Roku input.

I bought a Roku 1 player, found it hard to program, but once I got it running it was very good--for three days. Then it died.

I Love my Roku!

I love my roku. It is so easy to set up and use! I have told so many people how great it is! I even bought another for my bedroom since my husband is usually watching sports on the living room tv. Nothing on regular channels? Boring reruns? Roku to my rescue! I have hulu plus on it and can catch up the soaps I miss when at work. I love funny shows and Roku gives me access to it all. I also have netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions so there is always something to catch up on!. This is the best invention ever!!
