Many many choices - lots free - all great

My son provided my Roku as a Christmas gift as I had decided not to continue with "cable" TV. Poor quality of programming, terrible commercials, etc. BUT ROKU does away with ALL of that - great viewing - TV shows, movies, documentaries, etc. I'm only sorry that I didn't know about it MUCH sooner!

Stopping in middle of feature

I bought this for my 99 year Dad to be able to watch the WWF Wresting. It will stop and we have to reload it in the middle of a program. I don't know if it is the Roku or other issues.

This is the third Roku we have, and with one in every room we are able to watch all of our favorite programs. There is no longer a need for cable or dish and I encourage everyone I know to get one of their own. Best electronic device invented since the P.C.

I bought this additional Roku for use with my second little TV in the bedroom, so I didn't need all the features that the other models have. This one is perfect and the price is right. I noticed that this one has three output jacks for AV, so if you lose the cable it comes with you can use any spare AV cable to hook it up (if not using HDMI). Set up was easy, just plug it in and enter your wireless password and it's good to go. This is an essential product to easily access various on-demand programming (such as Netflix or Hulu) for pennies on the dollar compared to cable TV. It's worth buying and I'm happy I did.

Hate the Netflix app on the roku and that's the main reason I purchased a roku! You are unable to chose a profile in the Netflix app...fix this and maybe I'll repurchase a roku! Other then that the roku is a perfect streaming machine!

I have had this Roku for 6 months after previously buying an Apple TV and Google Chrome Cast and returning both of them. By far the Roku is superior with way more content and channels. It is set up in my spare room where we have no cable line run. It picks up Time Warner Cable TV, HBO Go, and Watch ESPN through our wireless internet. I love the fact there are no wires showing, the TV is mounted right on the wall and I hid the Roku behind the tv, so it looks like there is nothing else there. The picture streams in great HD quality. I will be getting another Roku for my son's room.
