Easy to use.

I am so happy that I went with the Roku 1 on my tv. We don't have cable or satellite so being able to play shows for our grandson who is 2 frees up our computer for our own use. Such a handy little thing to have around!

A Very Sound Investment

I bought Roku because I was tired of the commercial-based stuff. I was attacked so much by the same advertisements that I, literally, became sick. Plus, I just felt a need to take control of my viewing habits. Roku met these needs perfectly.

Since purchasing my Roku, I have not watched regular TV. I totally enjoy my Roku. I purchased one for my sister and she loves it. Several individuals from my church have one but weren't using it until I talked so much about it and now they are using theirs and enjoying it as well. Thanks for bring something that I enjoy. I love foreign films and this is wonderful. There is so much to see and be entertained.

Love the Ease and Options

I bought this I love it no more huge cable bill and I can transfer it to other TV's in home with ease and take with to cabin and friends and hotels when travel I just love it !!!!!!

Easy to use

I have a Zeki for my other tv, it can do a lot more include downloading apps. But the Roku is far easier to use. The set up is time consuming since most of it has to be done on a computer/ for each station/program. The Netflix only keeps one profile. But the ease of use is a blessing for those who are not technologically inclined.

Why I love Roku

I already had a Roku 2 player installed on my big TV in the living room, but wanted one in my bedroom because I hate advertisements - also, using Roku 1 to access my Netflix account allows me to pick and choose what I want to watch. It was super easy to install, and works great! My only recommendation would be to furnish a bigger and stronger remote. It can be difficult to use the buttons because they are small and too close to each other. I already had to replace the remote in the living room because it fell on the floor a few times and may have damaged it - A stronger case would be a great improvement.

Love Our Roku's

We have two of these Roku's. Our son recommended them to us. We don't have to go our and rent movies anymore. Our grandson can watch as many movies as he wants during a day. It has been great for us.
