It's not as good as it is hyped up to be it cuts out alot bc the power cord is so touchy and the av cords are very touchy idk if it's just the one I got or all of them but I wasn't going to pay to find out but I do like what it's supposed to do
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've only had this device for less than a month before getting this review request.
I do enjoy this product but haven't played with the features.
Things I do not like: Always on.
Video features are great. I am using this with my old Tube TV. Keep a spare in the Bed Room. I use it to access Netflix.
I Do hope many of the other apps and Movies are more varied and we get more Networks posting full videos. CBS was such a disappointment. They are show clips and not full video.
I do enjoy this product but haven't played with the features.

I love having ROKU, have had for a couple months, however I wish I could get live streaming for news instead of clips of old and semi recent footage. I would like to have Fox live news.

Love my Roku!!

I purchased my Roku several months ago. I have an Amazon prime and Netflix account not to mention some of the free service offered via Roku. I like to binge watch TV series and Roku enables me to do this. Also, if my satellite goes out and my internet stays on I can watch TV all I want. Thank you my friend Carolyn for telling me about Roku.

Great little gadget

I bought this so that I could view Netflix and my Slingbox on TV without having to attach my computer to the TV. Netflix is great but still having difficulty with Slingbox.

Get the warranty...

This was a gift from my daughter, as her Roku was from us years ago. The Roku was setup and working, but when I tried to use it a day later, it wouldn`t work, and was very hot to the touch.
Luckily my daughter had purchased the extended warranty, and promptly transferred it to my name. I was sent a new unit ASAP, and it has been working fine.
