Good video. Not so good audio.

I bought this unit several months ago and have used it moderately during that time. I have a great 7.1 surround sound system with Harmon Kardon receiver. But this Roku will only play in 2 channel stereo. I spent a lot of time reading forums of others having similar issues and possible solutions. But I finally realized there was no solution to get surround sound from it through my system. So I am pleased with the video and, even in stereo, it still sounds pretty good.

We love the Roku. I use it for Netflix, Amazon and others. It is great to get the latest movies without having to rent a dvd!!!

I like it a lot. I have it for four months now. It works well for my needs. However, this week for some reason it has been freezing. Not sure why!

Best thing I've purchase this year. I wanted to watch Hulu plus on my old model tv with a converter box. It automatically connected to my wifi just by connecting to tv.

Roku is not like getting cable or satellite TV for free, but there is a lot of free stuff available to keep you entertained. It also has lots of options you have to pay for, but are often comparable to (and compatible with) features you already pay for, like Netflix. One of my favorite features is My Media where I can connect via wifi with my main computer and show photos from my files on TV . Also I can record movies and shows to Play Later on my tablet. Sometimes it’s kind of difficult to understand how to set things up, but if you persevere you can probably figure it out. I still don’t know everything Roku can do, but I’m learning for the day when I ditch my dish.

I got my Roku for Christmas and I love it. Easy to setup and easy to use. Lots of choices of channels. We rarely watch regular TV since got the Roku. I recommend it to everyone.
