Great movie choices...no commercials!!

I think I died and went to heaven since I got gifted the Roku! I will never do without it! I have shown all my friends the ease of use, choices and the way it picks shows for you is amazing!! Maybe its being 64 that gives me absolutely no patience for commercials. The day I counted the commercials (7 in a row) every 6 minutes was a real eye opener! I'm not a couch potato, but when I want to watch a movie...I DON'T want to watch all those commercials! Love my Roku!!

Would give it 5 stars except that it takes time and effort to figure out what channels are worth paying for and streaming is often interrupted but no problem to fix

I received the ROKU for fathers day.I had stopped watching TV, but since I received the Raku I am watching just about everyday.

I've had a few other brands of Roku-type add-ons for my TV in the past, but none of them were as easy to use or reliable like the Roku.

Really easy for anyone to install and use. More and more content is added all the time. Works great with Hulu, Pandora & Netflix.

Not a Good Purchase

I purchased the Roku box in February 2014 and spent the time necessary to set it up. I was able to watch a Netflix movie!! Next time I went to view one, I had to go through the set up procedure all over again; and the same next time. I haven't been able to use it ever since because I refuse to keep going through the set up procedure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buying the Roku 1 streaming device has opened up a world of TV viewing that wasn't available through regular programming. I love watching shows that are streamed, allowing me to binge on entire series in a matter of weeks. Roku is the way to go for Smart TV viewing. Just love it!
