The best

I HAVE 4(four) of them. First I have bought 2yr ago and still working perfectly, no problems, always good pictures, good sound. I am using 2 of them constatly for more than 12 hours a day and never have had any problems. I have recommended to dozen of friends and no complaints, so buy it an you will be satisfied and have fun with almost all their programs.

I love how easily it can be moved from room to room. It has most of the subscriptions we use. No YouTube on this version though:-/ I also wish it had a sleep timer feature. Leaving in on through the night can really eat up your data usage! Also, it has to be unplugged to shut it off?

Bought mine back in the spring and it is the best purchase I have made the price was very reasonable and the channels and features are limitless , I watch HBO GO , Showtime Anytime , Netflix , Hulu Plus , I play Pandora and check my weather and watch other channels and just surf through the many channels available . Only downside is no NFL channel that would be cool to add the NFL network in the future .

Had to stop using it

My father bought this particular roku for us, saying it was better than the two older roku's we were already using. We have the roku because we decided to no longer have cable tv in our house because of the immoral content. We just have Netflix and Amazon Prime. Sadly this particular roku has 'commercials' on it's home screen. Like movie posters. Some of these posters are very graphic in content, totally going against our whole purpose of not having cable and using the roku in the first place. So we do not use this model anymore. It is in a box under a bed, waiting for me to find the time to sell it at a garage sale. We do love the roku product. they run well and do exactly what we need them to do. I just do not need the added inappropriate 'commercials' in this newer model. Our older models have the added usb ports we love to use as well. In this case, for our family, more is NOT better. I would recommend and have recommended roku to many friends, just not this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased the Roku 1 by mail. Never worked. Waited too long to send it back and purchased another one which only worked for about six months.

Flawless performance

After having struggled with a finicky blu-ray player for several years, I had given up on streaming. My son gave me a Roku for Christmas. It has performed without a single problem. I love it.
