Love Roku!

I'm glad to own Roku 1 as there are so many extra programs to watch over having to watch over the air TV. Wish there was live NFL football however. We've watched some really good older movies. We can see news from all over the world.

I bought this to try internet streaming even though I have a smart tv with many streaming features. I just wish there was more free content and more on demand programs for my favorite series.

WHEN I FIRST GOT ROKU I ALSO HAD DISH BUT EVERY TIME WE WOULD GET A STORM WE WOULD LOOSE TV NOW I WATCH ALL THE MOVIES I WANT STORM OR NOT ITS A GREAT PRODUCT I COULDN'T LIVE WITH OUT IT

Mixed feelings

I've had my Roku for 8 months and find it easy to use. Some of the channels are great, but I've also had trouble with many of them. Some don't work at all and some look like they have a lot of content, but I find only 1 or 2 actual episodes of the program.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple set-up and very easy to use

We use the Roku mostly to watch Netflix TV and movies. We were disappointed by the limited selection on Netflix of certain series and movies. We are also disappointed by the same on Amazon Prime. The Roku works well regardless.

Easy to set up

Our first time streaming. Hooked easily to TV and found the wireless network from our cable modem. Offered us a NetFlix app ready to go. We later bought a smart TV because it was cheaper than buying flat screen plus roku. Smart TV had the advantage of one controller and the NetFlix button on the remote. Would buy the roku again if hooking to a non smart TV.
