Bought this awhile back, like all the options to download of free channels, plus orange is the new black on Netflix, the IT crowd on Netflix, and the misfits on hulu

The Roku 1 provides access to great channels. The high def content displays wonderfully. Its well worth the purchase price.

I love the Roku! But some of the options that are available don't work... like the auto play option. It offers to turn off auto play but it doesn't stop.i wish there was a sleep option. It runs wifi all night even after the TV goes to sleep.

A must-have for Amazon Prime & PBS

I don't have on-demand or streaming services, but I do have Amazon Prime - but I couldn't take advantage of the free video without hooking my laptop up to my TV via the PC interface - which is a huge pain and not at all satisfactory. The Roku takes care of that problem with its Amazon channel including the ability to save videos to my wishlist from the Roku as well as online. Another bonus is the availability of so many free shows and series on the PBS channel. A tiny investment with a big payoff.

Good so far

We got rid of our cable and went to the a Roku. It's great, only downside is some/most of the channels you need a cable subscription to use them. So, defeats the purpose of getting rid of cable. We have netflix and do enjoy some of the free channels on the Roku.

Easy to use and set up

The Roku is easy to use and set up. My kids enjoy it a great deal and I like listening to Pandora on it. It doesn't have the best picture quality however.
