I Couldn't be a Happier Camper!

I have been a Roku user since February 2014 and I am not only happy with the product itself, but I am also happy with the service that is offered. I bought 4 Roku boxes for my family to save money. What do you mean "save money"? I'm glad you asked! Our method of saving money is that we have said goodbye and good riddance to any and all cable television companies and we haven't looked back. Kudos to Roku for helping us save money!

Works too good!

We bought our Roku and put it in our back room because we have WiFi on the TV in the livingroom and we also use two desktops and a tablet as well as the smart phones. Trouble is the Roku robs all the WiFi so we can't use it unless no one wants to use the other electronics. We have to unplug it because even when we are not using it, if it's on, it takes all the WiFi and there is no power switch.

Roku revolutionized our TV viewing

A few months ago, I bought a Roku 3, hoping it would provide us with good programming content and free us up to drop our expensive satellite service that kept going up in price and down in service and content. We fell in love with the Roku right away. I got a second Roku, a Roku 1, for our bedroom, got a couple of cheap flat indoor antennas for the local channels and we said goodbye to the satellite service. It is wonderful. The variety of programming available is huge -- literally thousands of possibilities, including music, kids programming, religious programming from a variety of faiths, foreign language programming, and games. Several university channels (MIT, Princeton, UC, etc.) offer free college courses. Most of the Roku channels are free, though a few of the commercial ones are only fully available if you subscribe to a cable or satellite service, and some, like Netflix, have a monthly fee. We pay for Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime, which. along with the OTA channels and the many great free Roku channels like PBS and Crackle, give us much more than we could ever find on satellite TV. And we get to choose which channels we want.
Roku is small, easy to install, easy to use, and limitless fun. And once you buy it, that's all. No monthly fees like cable. The HD quality is as good as the satellite. We literally expanded our variety of channels while cutting our TV viewing costs by 76%.

Absolutely love roku!

I bought the roku 1 about two weeks ago, because we already have one in our kids room. And I'm so happy we bought one for our room! Anything that we added to ours, went to our daughters roku box as well. Which was awesome. We won't buy anything other than roku! And it was at a great price.

Replaced Cable Premium Channels

We no longer subscribe to cable premium channels. Our two Roku's took their place and them some. Very happy with the device.
