We've had our Roku 1 for awhile now. I love it, mostly. It streams everything we want with no trouble. I will say that you'll want to manage your queues online rather than try to on the Roku. Also, make sure to organize the videos you add on YouTube because the YouTube can be difficult to find things on if it's not organized. We love our Roku and will be buying more.

I bought my roku a few months ago. It's not bad. I couldn't get netflix on it though until I hooked up my wii player. I bought the wii so I could stream netflix. otherwise it's not bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
