the ROKU worked but I got tired of the buffering and setting up accounts. I don't use it anymore.

A fantastic all-in-one entertainment package

The main draw of a Roku box for myself is an app like Time Warner Cable to give me access to the family TWC subscription in 1080p without having to buy another DVR. The hundreds of other apps included boast my entertainment library by even more with channels like HBO GO, Amazon Instant, Netflix, and Yahoo Screen to name a few. This box is an essential for any entertainment center. The only downside to the Roku 1 would be the speediness of the device but I usually don't stay in the menus long anyways to really notice.

I think if there was a movie service that actually had movies to RENT and not just buy the stuff this device would be better. Netflix doesn't have all the movies to rent, so that doesn't count. other than that this is great. I love old movies, like humphrey bogart movies, and none of them are online.

The systems functions as expected. It would be nice if the channel store was broken down into more categories in terms contents and expected cost ranges.

Good value, great selection of channels and show. It works well with Netflix and pretty good with Hulu. Have had a couple fail however and had to replace them. Overall, good choice for net style TV.

I really enjoy TV with no commercials, plus I can watch what I like. This has been a very convenient device that I thoroughly enjoy.

Bought this to replace an older unit I gave to an old friend of mine about 6 months ago. Love having a unit which has a remote/Android app I can use...rather than no remote or app to use on a mini-PC. The programming is great...but do miss the Sky FM and several others that even private channels don't have available.
I would recommend this to a friend!
