I didn't know anything about what i was doing when i purchased RoKu. After getting home and reading the instructions and following them, easy as 123; everything came together and has been working just fine. You should try it, it's great!

Much More than i thought I would get

I bought the Roku expecting it to get a little use and for netflix, we have used it so much that we cancelled our cable and use all the Roku channels instead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's Ok, not a great value in my opinion

I have had mine several months. Used it very little and has not been used at all in the last couple of months. I thought I would be able to watch back episodes of some of my favorite cable shows but most all the channels require you to have a subscription through a cable or dish provider. If I had that why would I be buying a Roku? Maybe I am missing something.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
