Better than cable

This is a replacement for one I purchased earlier this year . I love my Roku. I cannot afford cable and this is the best alternative for me. I love it !!!!

I have two other internet streamers the remote battery needs to be replaced too often, but my Roku's remote feels good to the touch and the battery has a long life. The other streamers will be replaced with a Roku. This is the best streamer ever.

Roku 1 - What a wonderful product

The only problem is the searching process. No time or date choices. No ability to turn off video search which slows it down. Ease at typing is needed. Outside that.. PERFECT!! Recommended it to my friends at work who never heard of Roku. And they have now bought Roku's of their own. Planning on buying another for our 2nd TV.
Also on the my channel page, we need not only the ability to move favorites to the top but to be able to have our own sections (news, movies, religious, etc..) for the channels we select. It would make it so much more easier to select what you need.

Trouble free operation

I now have 2 Roku's and I love both of them. I originally bought one for the bedroom which has worked great for about a year now. I was having trouble with the 'smart' features of my Samsung TV so I decided to buy another Roku for it and I'm am very glad I did. The Roku just works everytime!

Great inexpensive way to enjoy television!

I enjoy the Roku 1...I love my Roku 3 better for the added features. But for my children's room, the 1 is all we need. We can still get all the same channels we have on the 3, but we don't care for the fact that you have to point the remote directly at the box compaired to the 3, where you can just press a button without it being pointed to the sensor. All in All....a fantastic product none the less.

Dose not connect to Netflix very well and takes a lone time to connect a movie. My DVD player works better.
