Great streamer

Currently, the best overall media streamer - way more channels than anything available in the market. Will be interesting to see how it gets improved in the future. Would be nice to have the ability to play a playlist of personal videos (ideally, in random order). A web browser would also be a nice addition.

I wanted to stream movies from Netflix, so I bought me a Roku. I now can watch all the mov ies they have, with a flick of a button. There are other choices if I want to rent or buy other movies. Great price for what I need.

I had one really didn't watch to much then one day I sit down and start playing around and loved it I went and got a second one it was so good got tired of moving room to room so now I don't have to I watch it more then cable and cannot wait until contract runs out I will be letting go of cable and watching my roku only I've had 5 people buy one and they love it my kids say mom you should work for roku that's all I talk about most of all when people talk about there cable bill

I bought my first Roku about 5 months back..Now we own 3 and have bought 2 for gifts...Awesome apps ..free crackle free popcornflix..And recently I purchased a smart tv and hate apps compared to Roku...Easy to install to use ..Have had zero issues ..Best technology tool yet ..I have roku 1 and bought a 2 and both work great !!! Couldn't be happier

I bought the Roku 1 primarily for streaming Netflix movies. At the time, I did not know about all the channels that were offered. I have been very pleased with what can be done with Roku and its performance.

We had owned the roku 1 for more than 2 years, we initially bought it to get netflix in our bedroom. It has a better interface for nextflix and hbogo than our smart tv in the living room. I bought 2 more to cut the cord to our spare rooms (saving $10 a month for each direct tv box) and have been more than happy with this arrangement if it wasn't for HBO and sports I would cut the cord completely because roku is all we need. My parents bought the roku1 after seeing ours and have also been impressed even though my dad was hesitant at first ( too many options and just being new ) they have found it is more than enough for their needs as well.
