I bought my Roku a few months ago and don't know how I lived without it. There's always something to watch . I plan to get another for the upstairs TV

FIREWORKS !

Roughly a month ago we bought our Roku, and it expanded not only our selection of things to watch, but it has greatly expanded enjoyment of watching TV. Adding Roku is much like those large fireworks on the 4th of July in America, when they reach the intended elevation following launch, they explode into hundreds (thousands?) of smaller and colorful secondary explosions . . . which are, metaphorically, all the new TV programs and series you've never seen before ! Roku, in short, is AMAZING !

I bought this for my son's TV last year. Easy to use and works great.
The only thing I didn't like was that I had to put in my credit card info to set up. I almost returned it for that reason.

I love this streaming player. We chose this one as it's one of the cheapest (I guess the stick is probably cheaper.) We have a Roku 3 in another room and honestly, there's not much difference. Roku 1 can get all the same apps, connects to our wifi quickly and plays in HD (when available). It's great!

Very very difficult to install and start.

Took my husband 2 weeks & countless hours on phone with Roku and Verizon to get it started. He is a very smart engineer but these systems are not for the impatient or faint of heart. They are very difficult to troubleshoot and start.
