Like the fact that it connects to my older devices with RCA connectors as well as to HDMI. Number of channels is mind boggling and new ones added all the time.

Slashed My Cable/Dish Bill In Half

I love the added entertainment value, especially since now I can watch a lot more of what I choose and not whatever is playing. I was able to slash my cable/dish bill in half! Excellent value!

I've had my roku for quite a while now, I enjoy it so much I got rid of cable! Lol the only problem is I wish there was a way to go online directly from the product to make channel choices instead of having to use my computer. But I love it!

A great way to access streaming content

After months of dropped connections on a Sony BluRay player, I replaced it with the Roku and have found it to be a rock-solid device with very, very few glitches.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received a new Roku 1 this week and was excited to get it and set it up immediately. It worked perfect for two days but then the sound went bad. I rebooted everything but still got the same issue. I replaced it with my old Roku and everything is back to normal but I am unable to get Showtime Anytime which was my original reason for upgrading. I am going to see if I can return it for refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
