I recently purchased the Roku 1 with doubts that I would be able to set it up myself. Wow! The set-up was so easy and I've been very happy with my new purchase!

Convenient and small

About a year ago I bought my first Roku so my 90 year old mother could watch her beloved BBC murders - Midsomer Murders being her favorite. While she still gets a bit befuddled with the remote, it's an easy system to install and use offering lots of other viewing options to stream.

bought this for my parents who needed another option for tv viewing besides expensive cable or satelite tv. made it possible to cut the cord down to a minimum and the best part is the close captioning. being close to deaf this has made it possible to at least be able to enjoy programming to a point.

We have been making the transition from Directtv to antenna and Roku and are very happy with our choice. Interacting with the Roku seemed a little cumbersome at first, but it has sped up with software upgrades, and the layout is superb!
