This small footprint device offers so much value for the money. A wide array of
channels are available and many of of them are free. I own a smart TV and this
works way better. Highly recommend this product.

Only features that I need

I have it for almost 8 months and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Search function on TV is a little cumbersome but on computer is fine.

Too Much Hassle

I thought this was a great idea based on reviews. However, the free content is not that great and it's too much of a hassle to get channels and then have to log in all the time. Unfortunately, it's just a paperweight...

Roku has proven to be easy, economical, entertaining, and enjoyable since day one! I will not go back to paid cable service again.

I bought a second roku for myself for my bedroom and this Roku 1 is the next best thing to digital and cable television which I dont subscribe to anymore since I have my Roku's , who needs cable? Certainly not me.

Roku= Awesome

I purchased both a Roku 1 and 2. I use the Roku 1 for an older TV that doesnt have HDMI inputs and the Roku 2 for my newer TV. I plan on getting the 3 once my old TV fails. I love all the channes I have access to. I no longer pay for cable as we get free HD brodcasts of PBS and the major networks. The only reason I do not give both the Rokus I own 5 stars is because there is not an "off" switch and I notice the little Roku gets quite warm to the touch sometimes. I Wworry that they might burn out one day but no problems with them these last 6 months I have owned them.

I purchased 1 last Christmas and had to get another one.I love my Roku"s,I can watch when I want and what I want anytime.Got rid of able box saving more than half monthly.
