I bought this device to replace my expensive cable system. I can get most of the things I want, and it doesnt cost me any more than the cost of the unit.

I purchased the Roku product with the intent of enjoying first class entertainment at my home. Not to say that the advertised features are good but only when the connection works. I constantly get messages of errors and no connection, I follow the recommended unplug, shake, reposition, etc. and frequently nothing works.
As I write this review I am waiting for the system to connect to Pandora to enjoy some music, and it is been half an hour and no connection. This is very frustrating, I we want to blame the cable company it is COX high speed internet, not a problem we all other devises.

This is my second Roku and I thank God for it. I recommend it to everyone. You won't be sorry buying it....so wonderful to watch YouTube archived videos on my big TV screen.....movies, special websites.....GREAT!

Great for watching Netflix

I bought this about four months ago and the only thing I don't like about it is when it gets unplugged it takes days for it to load back up so we can watch Netflix again.

great alternative to expensive cable

I love my Roku and only wish I had bought it sooner. I sometimes prefer it to my PS3 for streaming. It is a bit slow loading youtube videos, but all in all its an excellent value.
