Great way to cut the cost of cable and the cord! Streams great with lots of channels to choose from. Will not pay for cable again!

I bought this to see what streaming video was all about. So far I am happy with it. I only subscribe to Amazon right now and I like being able to watch old movies when I want to. I may but another for my bedroom TV

I am technologically challenged, and was lamenting to my daughter that I wish I could watch my free prime movies on my TV instead of the computer, and she suggested that I get a Roku. She told me it was simple to set up and that I could even take it with me when I traveled. It ended being as easy to install and use as she said, and there are a lot of other features that can be used but for now, I'm just happy to watch my free amazon prime movies with it.

I originally purchased the Roku 1 for my bedroom TV. Loved it so much, bought another for the living room and dumped my cable. Netflix, Vudu, MLB, it's all right there at a few clicks on the remote, or Android app. Love it, it has saved me a ton of money, keeping only my wireless internet. Tried Google Chrome, pain in the rear to set up, I returned it. Great little device, everything HD 1080.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I enjoyed the roku 1 for about 5 months and one day......nothing...wont power on..dead. Unplugged for 2 days and still nothing...my other roku player is working great..i enjoy the roku very much..its a good device but I need the roku 1 replaced with a new roku 1......and yes it should be free..Maybe I got a defective unit.....but I love the roku2 I have and the roku1 i bought worked great until it died

Using on a Tube TV in bedroom. It brought the world of Internet TV to a disparate TV type (Audio/Video Cables). Amazed at how much more this offers vs. Xbox, Computer or Apple.
