Love the fact that you can choose from many different providers. Mainly watch the Netflix and Livestream (for weather and traffic). When watching a program and am unable to understand what was said you can switch the cc on or off easily.At night I put on a documentary to fall asleep and at the end of the program the Roku goes into a screensaver mode-also no blaring commercials to wake you .

I received the Roku as a gift. It was easy to connect to the TV/ easy to set up/ easy to use the remote to find movies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better then Apple TV, coming from an Apple Fanboy

I have had my Roku for about 6 months and it has been fantastic. I have an Apple tv and with the exception of the Apple Mirroring features I prefer my Roku. Its much more open and I am able to use Plex as a media server which Apple foolishly won't allow. I also prefer it's method of using Slingbox as apposed to the Apple TV. Overall I would buy another Roku before an Apple TV unless Apple opens up there device.

I have no idea how I lived without my Roku for all this time!! Great little gadget that is better than regular TV. Have already recommended it to various friends and relatives.
