Sometimes, too often when I activate one of my Roku's there is no sound. I have to unplug the power source to the Roku and wait 15 seconds or so. Usually the sound comes right on, but it can be annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for the price

My wife and I have enjoyed using our Roku 1. We wanted something to watch HBO GO on and got a LOT more. We were surprised by the amount of channels we found and liked. Not all of them are to our liking but we found our classic sci-fi and horror niche. It's a little slow at times and drags the remote down but for the price, it's worth it. The slow down is only in menu selections not video streaming. We watch everything in full 1080p HD when available.

A friend of mine had this system I would stop over and we would watch movies together. After while I thought it would be worth investment to purchase one for my home. Ever since then the thought of going back to cable is not an option.

I already did this review and now trying to restart my roku 1. I used it a month until it was time to pay the bill. I paid and it will not stream on my tv.
