I am new to this. I have a daughter that got me to get Roku. She is teaching me. Guess what , I am liking it so much. I am telling other people about how great this is. I am loving it. Thanks for such a great product.

We like Roku. However, we need more movies to choose from, like old movies, or sitcoms, i.e., Lucille Ball, Three's Company, things of that era.

I bought our first Roku player last October and since then have bought 4 more. I ended up wanting one on each of the TV's in our home. I love the selection and quality of things to watch. We cut cable TV and have no regrets whatever. We have more choices now and it is all on demand and at our convenience. We do pay for Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime and are still saving $100 a month from our cable TV bill. But with the Roku player, there are hundreds of channels to watch for free or for a very small sum and they are constantly adding more channels. It is truly plug and play, plug in an HDMI cable to the Roku and the back of your TV, then plug into the electricity and you are off and running. Of course, you also need WiFi in your home. I recommend it to everyone, friends and strangers alike.

the Roku 1 works well but was not happy with the netflix app it only lets you in to the primary users account so you can not look at or use the other user accounts. my father is the primary user on netflix at our house so i can not see my wish list of favorites

No YouTube

I bought this to broadcast my YouTube channel, but it does not have YouTube. So I use it in my home gym which does not have any cable. It works good in the gym.
