Almost everything I wanted

While this product has access to 1000 channels, it does not have an Internet browser to access online content. This would greatly enhance expanded content.

Easy to Navigate, HD quaility output, small size

I have been watching streaming videos from my PC's and it was taking a few steps to get to playing it out through my TV. The Roku has made life simple and improved the flexibility to use streaming content. I also like the standard AV outputs to send through a MATV at home so all sets can watch the show (maybe not HD, but the kids love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Game Changer

This Roku has totally changed my TV viewing schedule. I am no longer dependent on having to watch something at the time it is broadcast, plus in many cases there are no commercials...and I can pause the program. Best of all, because I don't spend a lot of time watching TV, the time that I do spend I can be more selective in what I'm watching. The Roku 1 was perfect for me, in fact I bought another Roku 1 so I now have two...one for each TV, and I subscribe to Amazon Prime, giving me better programing options, plus it covers both TV's.

i own the roku stick and roku 1. I hate how the roku 1 doest update like the roku stick. I really wish the roku 1 would update the netflix app and then I would love this. I have preordered the amazon stick to replace the roku 1 becuase i hate the netflix interface on roku 1, but other than that the roku 1 is an ok device. it gets its job done besides not having profiles on netflix like my roku stick or xbox or tablet or phone.
