It's so easy

Having a limited knowledge of modern day electronics I hesitated in purchasing a Streaming device and also refusing to sign-up for Cable or Satellite TV because of ridiculous cost, I went ahead and purchased a Roku Internet Streamer and I'm so happy I did! It was flawless in it's installation and I now use it to watch Television shows, Movies and Sports. I watch what We want to watch, Pay for what we want to watch, no B.S. It's the Future Guys. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Roku is super easy to set up and to get started. I ditched my satellite immediately and don't miss it at all. I'm saving money and watching tv and movies on my terms!

Better to have Netflix

All you can see is past programs nothing about actual TV, when I bought it all major TV stations where available but in reality only a bunch of it. I'd rather keep my cable and add Netflix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This little gadget has changed the way I view television. I can seeto shows I have grown up with, and so many more. This is incredible and will take the place of my cable company as soon as my contract is up!

The Roku 1 is simple and works well

I bought the Roku 1 and two of the Roku 3's. The 1 has a little slower processor than the 3. It will do everything that I want to do. It is the only Roku choice that will plug into my older HDTV that does not have an HDMI port. The RCA (red-white-yellow cables) must be used with this older TV. Other than the one time online registration process for the first Roku box. The installation and setup process only takes a couple of minutes.

BUT I JUST LOVE IT BECAUSE I'M VERY BUSY AND DON'T GET TO SEE MY SHOWS SO ROKU IS LIKE HAVING A DVR I CAN WATCH ALL MY SHOWS WHEN I'M READY THROUGH, HULUPLUS OR NETFLIX ON MY TV.
