Is a shame. i wait for a great product, it start working ok but then, a failure. the pretty much common MAC address all 0 error. you should work hard to avoid this common error and give some real answer to the community. Now i have to go to the store and get a replacement

If it were not for the couple programs my husband watches on satellite, I would cancel our satellite service altogether, I ONLY watch tv now if it's something I can get with the Roku - and the selection is huge! No more commercials! I am so loving this! And I completely love how anything can be fast forwarded, rewound, or paused! Super simple to set up too, and no connection issues whatsoever! One of these days I'll buy another one for our other tv. Very highly recommended. Oh - I selected the Roku 1, because we have an older television.

Received our Roku as a gift a month ago and have enjoyed watching movies since then. Movie selection is great and can watch in the comforts of our home.

So glad we can now stream shows for our granddaughter. We have been looking into this for sometime now. We have also enjoyed watching adult movies and shows as well.

I have a Fire TV. I tried to get the VUDU app on it for months. I finally got a Roku 1 just so I could watch my VUDU account on the HDTV. Then I loaded up the TWITCH app and found it much better than the Amazon one. At this point I wish I had gotten the Roku 3 instead of the Amazon Fire TV because the apps are better. Like I said the only problem with the Roku 1 is it is a dual core instead of a quad, so it is pretty slow. Get the Roku 3 and avoid the Fire TV entirely!

I love my Roku. I have bought two and I am going to buy another. My brother bought one after I told him about mine.A friend of mine also bought one and they are very impressed. So many movies and tv shows and music I only have one complant and that is sometimes it freezes so i un plug it and that does the job.

Solved our problem

We needed access to captions watching Netflix. We like the British programs and struggled with their accents. Roku provided the option of captions with all the Netflix programs. We're also enjoying smoother streaming with this connection over the other device we were using. The Pandora music station is fun too -- Happy!
